Foraging New Ground
For foraging into new ground,
At the waterfront, I enjoy standing with the birds.
Do you know they always flock, being fed by the word?
I sing my songs of love, for into thee,
And they eat and imbibe it thoroughly through.
As for me, I do too, enjoying loving attention,
Surprised I only filmed in mind.
---
At the water's edge, where earth meets sea,
I find a space where I can simply be.
The birds gather 'round, drawn by my tune,
Their wings reflecting the light of noon.
Each note I sing, a gentle call,
Echoes out to one and all.
The birds respond, in flight and song,
A chorus that carries the love along.
Their beaks sip the melody, their wings the verse,
As I watch, the universe immerse.
In this quiet communion, where nature aligns,
I realize the beauty is capturing my mind.
For in this moment, pure and true,
I share my love with skies so blue.
No camera needed to hold this scene,
For it's imprinted in the in-between.
