Grateful Currents of Light

 

Having moments to think and play before I say,

Feeling the energy flowing my way,

Being vigilant and strengthening my walk,

Investing each word I speak and talk.

Patient I am inside about my faithful appearance,

Wherefore I fly upon the currents. 

Above high in the sky you see me leading the pack,

Grateful knowing God has my back.  

Having moments to think and play,  

Before the words take flight today.  

Energy flows, alive, my way,  

Each step vigilant, each word I say.  

Investing faith, in speech and stride,  

Strengthened within, where patience resides.  

High above, on heavens floor,

  

Leading the pack, forevermore.  

Grateful, I rise, the son intact,  

Knowing always, God has my back.  

Through winds that lift and light that shines,  

I journey onward, beyond time.
